Gifts from the Seas and ACK Oyster Cult began with a simple idea...after harvesting the amazing Grey Lady Oysters provided by sustainable oyster farming, create beautiful artwork with the shells that remained. Although our medium includes many different sea shells, our primary "canvas" is the beautiful and awe-inspiring Nantucket Grey Lady Oyster.  Grey Lady Oysters are farmed exclusively in the clean, cold North Atlantic waters.  Not only are they a local delicacy, but they are also known worldwide as the finest oysters available. The oysters are served at local establishments and shipped throughout New England, New York, along the Eastern Seaboard, and beyond.  The sustainable farming methods employed by Grey Lady Oyster farmers ensure a limitless supply of environmentally sustainable oyster shells.
